XMI Pte Ltd X Mini Max II and Gen X Mini Speaker II
A few days ago I was contacted by Frederick Yao from XMI Pte Ltd and he sends me the sampe of X-Mini Speaker.Today,all coming via DHL and when I open it I get a little shock because theres a blue light coming from the package and you know what is it? Are the LED of the speakers and I think they try to impress by the buyer to turn it on:)
When I open I get 2 set of speakers.The X-Mini Max II and Gen X-Mini Speaker II.I try to test the X-Mini Max II speakers first.The design is unique as a capsule and if you want, you can separate each other by pulling gently.With a lift and turn against the clock you reveal the resonator.Now the part connecting to my lovely Acer netbook with the USB cable.Connect 2 mini-USB adapter for each speaker [turn it on] and the stereo plug into the audio port netbook.I try the heavy metal song by Metallica and the quality is loud and clear.I would not expect much from X-Mini portable speaker,but stylish and ultra portable design really surprised me.
Now the second speaker – X-Gen II Mini, which may be parallel [daisy chain] more than one speaker with the same type.I see in the image can be parallel to 5 [maybe more]. But sorry I do not know the quality and the parallel (I have a speaker) and a slightly lower quality instead of X-Mini Max II.The different is the audio cable connector is in the speakers, so you can connect your portable player or you can use the USB adapter to connect.
Now the conclusion of both speakers.With unique design and ultra portable X-Mini Capsule Speaker design is really recommended for you.It can connect to music player like iPod,mobile phone,PC,laptop,PSP and MP3/MP4 player until it has 3.5 mm stereo output port.The quality is above standard and include the optional subwoofer I think the sound is much better.But these speakers is to build with light weight yet? Now I know why the speakers as the winner of the Red Dot Design Awards [Germany] and Singapore InfoComm Awards.
