Sigma DP2 Digital Camera
Sigma held a press conference to announce its new compact digital Sigma DP2 featuring a 14-megapixel Foveon X3 direct image sensor market in Korea. The DP2 is equipped with a 24.2mm F2.8, equivalent to 41 mm on a SLR 35 mm to increase the creative possibilities and superior image quality, improving handling and performance.
This objective and SLR-sized image sensor combination provides natural shallow depth of field. The DP2 incorporates TRUE II is an improved version of TRUE (Three-layer Responsive Ultimate Engine), the first image processing engine suited for the three integrated layers direct image sensor.
Suggested price is 800,000 (KRW) and 900,000 (KRW).
