Samsung NX Series Hybrid Digital Camera
Samsung has officially launched its new digital camera system in the form of hybrid NX series. Similar to the concept of Micro Four-thirds, but with a larger APS-C sensor, the new system is designed for performance and quality of an SLR with the convenience and portability of a point and shoot. By replacing the mirror box and optical viewfinder of an SLR with a viewfinder, the NX series is designed for smaller and lighter lenses and bodies.
These “hybrid” cameras offer interchangeable lenses, a DSLR APS-C size sensor, and a full range of modes of shooting, Live View, viewfinder, and a small size of the unarguably more than a typical paparazzi pocketable camera.
This is a new concept digital camera, the NX Series offers performance and image quality of a DSLR and the portability and convenience of a compact point-and-shoot. With the NX Series, Samsung will become a world leader in the new hybrid market.
