NEC Display Solutions of America, a commercial provider of LCD and projector screen solutions,today announced the first ever LED backlit desktop monitor for business,education,healthcare and government markets,22 inch multisync ® EA222WMe.
LED backlighting technology enables NEC multisync EA222WMe to provide the same amount of brightness as the other panel types when using 20% less power.Compared with previous generations of NEC LCD,which consumes up to 52% EA222WMe less power,emits up to 61% less heat, weight up to 25% less and use up to 15% less packaging.Monitor and display the cable in mercury free environmentally friendly,halogen and arsenic.In addition,the monitor is compliant with ENERGY STAR 5.0,TCO 5.0 and EPEAT Gold,which froze its status as the most energy efficient desktop monitors offered by NEC.
Users will have the ability to track their carbon savings with the view that carbon resettable meters,a unique tool that calculates the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.New to the NEC multisync EA Series is a cost resettable meter,which indicates the user cost savings on electricity through On Screen Display.
