NEC MultiSync AS231WM LCD Monitor
Building on its position in the green technology industry, NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of LCD projectors and business solutions, has announced a new environmentally friendly display, the NEC multisync LCD monitor AS231WM.
Targeted for small and medium enterprises [SMEs] as well as education and government users, the new NEC monitors AS231WM joined the other four green AccuSync Series [NEC AS171, AS191, and AS191WM AS221WM], which supports all EPEAT Silver ranking and ENERGY STAR 5.0 and 5, 0 TCO compliance.
AS231WM new screen will be available in May 2010 and an estimated retail price of U.S. $ 269.AS231WM NEC LCD consumes 50 percent less energy and contain the mercury content of 50 percent less than conventional screen the same size. In addition, ECO mode technology allows end users to switch between energy savings, helping to dramatically reduce energy consumption, heat production and extend the life of the NEC LCD.

This monitor is equipped with input AS231WM Ambix dual NEC technology, which allows for digital / analog compatibility with video cards and software updates, and connect to both systems.
