LG SL8000 Borderless LCD HDTV In Russia

LG has announced the availability of the latest LCD HDTV ‘SL8000 Borderless’ in Russia. Unlike conventional LCD TVs,it features a unique SL8000 single layer screen, where the TV screen and frame are in one section, so the limit. On top of that,this new HDTV also provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution,150,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 2ms response time.

Other advanced technologies worth mentioning include Motorola TruMotion 200GHz to reduce blur objects in motion,Smart Energy Saving Plus to reduce electricity consumption and Intelligent Sensor to automatically adjust the image and the backlight intensity under lighting conditions.The SL8000 is now available in Russia for the retail price of 61,990 rubles [about $ 2113] for the 42 inch model.[via techfresh]
