Garmin Oregon 450t And Oregon 450 Portable GPS Devices
Garmin introduces two new portable GPS devices, and the Oregon 450t Oregon 450. These GPS units have both a 3 inch touchscreen display, 3 axis tilt compensated electronic compass, barometric pressure altimeter, and paperless geocaching. They have 850MB internal memory and a microSD card slot and are able to store up to 2000 waypoints, 200 routes, 5000 and one of the caches to 10,000 tracklog points and 200 saved tracks.
The Oregon 450t comes pre loaded with 100K topographic maps for the entire United States and 3D elevation perspective on major roads, urban and rural roads, motorways, highways, coasts, rivers and lakes, as well as national, state and local parks, forests and wilderness areas.
The Oregon 450t Oregon 450 supports and services to the Garmin Connect online community for GPS devices. They are priced $ 499.99 and $ 399.99 respectively.[via itechnews]
