Dell Inspiron Zino HD Customizable Desktop
Not to be confused with vanilla Inspiron Zino, based in the office of the atom has no authority to deal with some everyday tasks, much less HD video, HD Zino is a proper desk. In fact, although the CPU and GPU options are somewhat limited, you can configure one with up to 8 GB of memory and a 1TB hard drive.
Returning to the comparison Cute VS HD Zino, just look for Dell is the clear winner. In fact, unless the Apple Mac mini is much more attractive for non desktop PC we’ve laid eyes on Atom. It measures a diminutive 197 x 197 x 85 mm and weighs only 1.6 kg. Its soft curves, symmetry and well integrated power button with white backlight to contribute to a machine that would not look out of place in a designer’s office or below your TV does a very few, and certainly much more Cute cute that. Nor do you see the air vents disfiguring [apart from the only fan in the back], because they are well hidden in the base is slightly raised.
Like most Dell notebooks and some popular line of consumer desktop, the HD seems Zino is highly customizable with a veritable plethora of color and design options for the top. These include piano black in our sample, blue, green, orange, pink, purple and red, and the infinite horizon, Green and Red Swirl dispersion. The latter, a biological model of different shades of red on white is my preferred option, but there must be something for everyone. The upper deck is a cinch to replace, as it comes out simply by pressing a button on the rear of the chassis and clicks into place easily.
Unfortunately, the glossy finish as fingerprints and dust, as always, easily scratched, but this is less a problem on a computer that is not necessary to touch often compared to laptops, often complain about. The construction quality is decent, but not exactly the most difficult, so this system may be treated with some care. The top panel flexes somewhat interchangeable, but the main structure does not suffer from obvious shortcomings. [via trustedreviews]
