Aigo N500 MID Runs On Maemo Operating System
More Aigo MID [Mobile Internet Device] is the N500, which will be powered by a 806MHz + ARM-based Marvell PXA310 processor that runs the Maemo operating system. Interestingly, N500 is very close to what you might call a Nokia device, and the fact that it is not the second device to execute Maemo Nokia makes things even more interesting.

The N500 Aigo have a 4.3 WVGA touchscreen resistant, along with 128MB of RAM, 256MB ROM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, 3G [EVDO] voice and data support, GPS capability, a Integrated VGA camera 3.2 megapixel camera and a high capacity 2600mAh Li-ion battery to provide enough juice for everyday use. It retails for around $ 586 in China, with no word on whether the N500 will come in United States. You want to pick this rather than a netbook? [via ubergizmo]
