Acer in a low profile introduction has launched one of the first intelligent computer display. The D241H borrowed the same concept behind the instant-on boot for the notebook and use Wi-Fi connection to load the OS miniature. This tactic provides 24 inch LCD and basic Internet access, word based widgets and media player and photo frame regardless of whether or not attached to the computer is switched on.

As the actual screen, the screen Acer leaning toward the low to mid range with a TN-based panel 1080p, but a 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 2ms pixel response time. Video input depends on both analog [probably VGA] or HDMI, but the multi format card reader and two port USB hub to help complement the desktop. Acer promises support for both Mac and Windows PCs.
